USMC SGT David William Wallace age 25
SGT David Wallace was killed in action January 27th 2009 in Helmand Province Afghanistan. On that day he and fellow Marine SGT Trevor Johnson were both killed after successfully disarming three roadside IED's. Their efforts throughout their tour in Afghanistan saved countless lives while preventing life changing injuries from occurring to others. He was posthumously awarded the Bronze Star with Valor and the Purple Heart.
